My first sawmill. As soon as I got the hang of it I was making wood. I made 2 deer stands, 1 gate, 1 lean to, 1 mail drop box for large packages. I still have a lot of wood left over and many more logs to cut. I wish I bought this a long time ago. No more trips or cost for lumber. The machine is great and very easy to operate. I will be ordering the extender soon.
The HM126 is an awesome machine. I am a custom home builder in Southern Oregon. Building custom homes out in the mountains requires a special set of skills and tools. The Woodland Mills sawmill has been invaluable. My crews use this mill on every project we do. We drag it around to some places a pack mule wouldn't want to go. We have set it up on rocks, we have set it up across logs. I recently had the opportunity to run a newer HM126, as we ran into a project that would have taken 5+ months to mill out. The homeowner wanted to buy a mill of his own, and I had him test my HM126 out. He fell in love with the simplicity of use and the rugged design. Over the course of 3 months, we ran (2) Woodland Mills saws side by side. 5 days a week, those mills ran non stop. I have to say, when I first got my mill I was extremely pleased. the mill worked perfectly. The guys at Woodland Mills wouldn't let a great product just sit though, they made this thing even better. The new head cart is awesome. Pushed smoother and holds the blade better than before. If your looking for a real sawmill, skip Harbor Freight. If your not trying to spend your life savings skip a Wood Mizer. If you don't want to work on it every day, skip a Hud-Son My crews have had the opportunity to run most of the portable bandsaw mills on the market. Every time they come back to the Woodland Mills HM126 and smile. Unbeatable quality Unbeatable price Unbeatable customer service Why buy anything else.. Jacob Sieg Sieg Construction
Loving it! No issue with set up at all. Directions were easy to follow and all the parts and hardware I needed were included, nothing was missing! Have already milled oak, walnut and cedar all stacked and drying! The 9.5 HP engine sips gas and has plenty of power as long as I don’t go too fast! Noticed some scalloping Of the boards when milling my cedar logs but changed out blade and all is fine now! Thinking about getting track extension for some of my 12 foot cedar logs. Thanks for making such an easy mill to use!! James Krahling, Omaha, Nebraska
As a berry framer and a woodlot owner, there is always a need for lumber and projects are numerous. I had my eyes on one of those for years. I should have bought it a long time ago ! This is one of the most useful tool on the farm and I would never go back to the old days where I would hire someone once a year to cut my pile of logs. The machine is very well designed and at a fair price. It does exaclty what they say it will do and even more. I have cut logs a little over 26'' but not without scratching my head at times. What makes woodland mills product stand out of the crowd is the service you gets afterwards. I was so pleased with the mill and the service that I got that I bought the WC88 chipper a few months later.
It came in 1 box and was so simple to build, it cuts everything I've thrown at it,. I've shown it to a few friends who are waiting till spring to order theirs. Just love my woodland mill, best investment ever and the wife enjoys running it too..
This machinery is very useful for optimizing and giving new life to wood without value.
Loving it, lots of trees to cut up ahead of me.
