Blade Profile Cam allow your Woodland Mills blade sharpener to match the specific tooth geometry of different blade manufacturers, helping maintain the blade’s original cutting profile during sharpening. By guiding the grinding wheel through a full-profile grind, the cam ensures each tooth is shaped correctly to deliver consistent cutting performance.

Maintaining the proper tooth profile is especially important when using specialized blades designed for certain wood types or cutting conditions. Without the correct cam, repeated sharpening can slowly alter the tooth shape, reducing cutting effectiveness. Using the proper Blade Profile Cam helps preserve that factory-designed geometry so your blades continue to cut the way they were intended.

Each cam is laser-cut from 3/16" (5 mm) thick steel for durability and precise tracking during sharpening. Built to hold up to repeated sharpening cycles, these cams are a simple but important addition for sawyers who want to get the most performance and life out of their blades.
