Product Features
BUSHLANDER®
The Bushlander® off-road trailer package adds mobility to your milling operation. Designed for the uncharted woodland and rough terrain, the Bushlander® trailer lets you conveniently bring your HM122 sawmill directly to the logs. Connect to the towing vehicle using the included 2” (50 mm) ball hitch. The raised track provides a more comfortable and ergonomic working height. Easily roll into storage when not in use or for maintenance. The Bushlander standard features 8 leveling legs that can be deployed and adjusted for uneven terrain and rugged multi-ply off-road tires that can be removed to clear the operator’s walking path when milling.
MULTI-PLY OFF-ROAD TIRES
The multi-ply off-road tires are durable and rugged for all off-road terrain types. Heavy treads will keep you moving smoothly. The tires can be completely removed to clear the operator’s walking path when milling.
LEVELING LEGS
Raised and locked when in transport, simply unlock and deploy the leveling legs once you arrive at your destination and adjust the height to level the trailer and tracks with minimal effort. A tongue jack with 2 mounting locations is included to assist with connecting a towing vehicle and leveling. Features 8 leveling legs on the standard length trailer and 12 leveling legs on the XL length.
TRANSPORT LOCK DOWN KIT
The trailer includes our sawmill head lock down kit so that you can safely secure the sawmill head to the trailer during transportation. Four (4) 3/8” (9.5 mm) pins go through the sides of the trailer and the brackets attached to the head. A heavy-duty ratchet strap is also included as a secondary measure for securing the sawmill head to the trailer.
TRAILER LENGTH OPTIONS
The Bushlander® is available in two trailer lengths. The Bushlander® standard trailer is capable of a 10' 4" (3.1 m) cut length. The Bushlander® XL is capable of a 16' 9" (5.1 m) max cut length.
PATENT PENDING FOLDING TRAILER EXTENSION
The Bushlander® XL features a patent pending folding trailer extension that can be folded and secured to the HM122 sawhead during transport. When folded up, the track acts as a structural brace that helps secure the sawmill head during off-road travel. The compact form makes it easier to navigate narrow spaces and paths and creates a smaller footprint when storing in your shed, shop or garage. An additional 6’ 5” (1.95 m) track length, leveling legs and screw style log clamp with a transport strap are included.
