This 6' 5" (1.95 m) track extension bolts directly to your existing HM136MAX® track system, giving you the ability to mill longer logs without changing your overall setup. It’s a straightforward way to expand your cutting capacity, and for ground-mount configurations, multiple extensions can be added to reach the lumber lengths your projects require.

The extension features 1/4" thick precision-machined L-rail that matches the existing track, forming a match-set with the sawhead carriage wheels for smooth, consistent travel during milling. The rails are cross-supported with powder-coated rectangular steel log bunks to keep the track rigid, square, and properly aligned, while spreading log weight over a larger surface to help prevent log marking. For the HM136MAX®, the bunks also include the same stainless-steel bunk caps found on the base mill, providing smooth log rolling, added bunk protection, and helping prevent wood staining on certain species such as oak. A built-in tab on the bunks also allows you to make your final cut without a log support.

The kit includes two log supports (short and long) for working with different log sizes and cut heights, with the long support featuring a top-mounted roller to assist with log turning. An additional quick-lock log clamp is also included to help secure material across the extended cutting length. Installation is simple—remove the last log bunk from your existing track, attach and square the extension, then reinstall the bunk at the end of the new section.

MATCHED L-RAIL TRACK SYSTEM

Built from the same 1/4" precision-machined L-rail as the original HM136MAX® track. This creates a continuous running surface for the sawhead as it travels across the extension.

REINFORCED TRACK SUPPORT STRUCTURE

Powder-coated rectangular steel log bunks support the extension and help maintain track alignment across the added length. The design distributes log weight across a larger footprint while supporting longer material.

STAINLESS STEEL BUNK CAPS

Uses the same stainless steel bunk caps found on the HM136MAX® sawmill. The smooth surface helps logs roll more easily during loading and helps reduce staining on species such as oak.

ROLLER-TOP LOG SUPPORT

The included long log support features a top-mounted roller to assist with turning heavy logs and cants on the mill. This helps reduce friction when rotating material during setup.

QUICK-LOCK LOG CLAMP INCLUDED

Includes an additional quick-lock log clamp for securing logs across the extended cutting area. The quick-lock design allows for fast positioning and adjustment when loading different log sizes.

BOLT-ON INSTALLATION

Installs by removing the end log bunk, attaching and squaring the extension, and reinstalling the bunk at the far end. No modification to the sawmill frame is required.
