Magnetic Log Scale Kit

The Woodland Mills Magnetic Log Scale Kit helps you cut boards to consistent thickness faster and with less guesswork. The scales attach directly to your sawmill’s log scale bracket and provide multiple common board thickness settings, allowing you to set your next cut quickly without measuring or calculating between passes.

Each kit includes two magnetic scales with a built-in ruler and ten common thickness increments ranging from 3/4" to 4", including 1", 1-1/8", 1-1/4", 1-1/2", 1-3/4", 2", 2-1/2", and 3-1/2". The kerf is already factored into each setting, so once you make a cut, you simply lower the head to the next mark and continue milling with consistent results.

The scales are made from UV-protected, weather-resistant vinyl with a strong magnetic backing so they stay firmly in place during milling while remaining easy to reposition when needed. Clear, high-contrast markings make them easy to read at a glance, making this a simple upgrade for improving repeatability across every board you cut.
