Self-Releasing Snatch Block
Self-Releasing Snatch Block
The Woodland Mills Self-Releasing Snatch Block makes it easier to skid and haul logs when working around trees, rocks, or other obstacles. By allowing you to redirect your winch line or change the direction of pull, it helps guide logs along a safer, more controlled path through the bush without constantly repositioning your equipment.
Built with a 6-ton capacity pulley system, the snatch block features a machined pulley with a ball bearing for smooth, efficient line travel under load. The body is finished with a durable powder-coated coating for added corrosion resistance in tough outdoor conditions. An included 8 ft long heavy-duty 2" nylon strap provides secure anchoring to trees or fixed points, giving you flexibility when setting up your pull.
The self-releasing design automatically disengages once the log reaches the anchor point, allowing you to continue hauling without stopping to reset the rigging. It’s a practical solution for landowners, arborists, and anyone working in wooded or uneven terrain who needs more control and efficiency when skidding logs to the trail or landing.
