Series 5 PTO Shaft with Slip Clutch (Trimmable)

The Woodland Mills Series 5 PTO Shaft is designed for use with gearboxes featuring a 1-3/8" Z6 input shaft and is a direct replacement for the original PTO supplied with compatible Woodland Mills equipment. It connects to your tractor with a quick-release splined yoke and is built to fit and operate the same way as the factory-installed shaft.

This version features a 6-spline slip clutch that allows controlled slippage under high load, helping manage torque and reduce shock to the driveline and gearbox. Unlike a shear pin, the slip clutch automatically resets once the load is reduced, making it well suited for continuous-duty applications where material flow and load can vary during operation.

The shaft measures 38" (965 mm) when compressed and extends to 50-15/16" (1294 mm), and like most PTO shafts, it can be trimmed to length during installation to match your tractor setup. The shaft includes safety shields and retaining chains and is compatible with the Woodland Mills PTO wood chipper models listed below.
