From smaller sawmills like the HM122 to larger ones like the HM136MAX, every day sawyers are building things like decking, cabins and dimensional lumber for their projects, and these reviews show the excitement from new sawyers to get started.
Lynn N., Woodland Mills HM122 Portable Sawmill owner - ★★★★★

"We bought this machine with the intentions of milling up the logs off our property just to have something to do and clean up. Now we are getting ready to use this machine to build a cabin or an A-frame, which we never thought was going to be possible this quickly. Easy to use, we love our new sawmill."
Jordan D., Woodland Mills HM122 Portable Sawmill owner - ★★★★★

"This is an awesome product. My brother and I talked for a while about buying a mill and when the time came it was a no brainer to go with Woodland Mills. We are very happy with our HM122 and have a list of projects for the spring. Buying products from Woodland Mills in the past, we knew the product quality we’d get, and also the unbelievable customer service. Always a 10/10 experience dealing with Woodland Mills."
Bradley C., Woodland Mills HM122 Portable Sawmill owner - ★★★★★

"I have only milled a few logs, but if the next hundred are like the first couple I can't wait. The mill has performed better than I could have expected. The mills design, material and construction are incredible, very well designed and build. Look forward to seeing what treasures come to life when milling my next log. I can't wait to take it back to the camp and mill spruce for an addition to the camp."
Ronald A., Woodland Mills HM126 Portable Sawmill owner - ★★★★★
"The mill assembly went smoothly there were no issues or missing pieces. The 14hp motor runs and starts flawlessly, the blade changes are easily done. After a short learning curve on getting the blade tension correct the mill produces some quality lumber. More than happy with this mill."
Shelleen S., Woodland Mills HM126 Portable Sawmill owner - ★★★★★

"Great product... great instructions... great customer service. Overall GREAT experience."
Jim B., Woodland Mills HM126 Portable Sawmill owner - ★★★★★

"It takes a little time to get the sawmill constructed and level, but once you do, it is great. I had never operated a sawmill and had no problems at all. It cranks easy and appears to be well built. I have cut about 10 logs and all went smooth. The manual is easy to follow for construction and operation and I recommend this mill to others."
Gregor, Woodland Mills HM126 Portable Sawmill owner - ★★★★★

"Chicken coop. Fir construction and red Cedar roofing."
Paul A., Woodland Mills HM130MAX Portable Sawmill owner - ★★★★★

"Last year I watched countless videos of portable sawmills, could never get enough. I decided I would need forks for my Kubota, log ramps, running gear to haul logs (no dirt), strapping to tie the lumber bunks tight. All the time thinking this would be a hobby, still teaching people what "hobby" means. Once I pulled the trigger on the HM130MAX it took two weeks in my spare time to put together with ease. 7-months later I have 50 hours on it with zero regrets. This is very addictive at 64 years old, I can see retirement being enjoyable sawing lumber. I recommend this mill with 5 stars all day long."
Brent L., Woodland Mills HM130MAX Portable Sawmill owner - ★★★★★

"Five Stars Isn't Enough: The HM130MAX and Exceptional Service.
I've been running my new Woodland Mills HM130MAX Sawmill for almost a year now, and it is an absolute game-changer. This machine is a true workhorse. The power is fantastic, and the cuts are consistently precise, handling large diameter logs with surprising ease. If you're looking for a dependable mill that transforms logs into beautiful lumber efficiently, the HM130MAX delivers on every promise. It has dramatically sped up my milling process and the quality of the finished product is top-notch.
What truly elevates this experience to a 5-star rating, however, is the seamless customer service and sales team. In fact, I am already a return customer because the service was so great on my previous purchase. Talking to them throughout the process, from initial inquiry to finalizing my order, was incredibly easy and straightforward. They were professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful, making the entire buying experience feel completely stress-free.
Even after delivery, when I had to reach out for support, the service was outstanding. I noticed a couple of small items that had minor manufacturing defects, which can occasionally happen with any complex equipment. I contacted the customer / technical support team, and the resolution was handled fast and painlessly. There was zero hassle, and they immediately shipped the replacement parts I needed. This level of prompt, no-questions-asked support is rare and speaks volumes about Woodland Mills’ commitment to their customers.
The combination of an excellent sawmill and top-tier customer support makes this purchase the best investment I’ve made for my woodlot. Highly, highly recommended!"
Michael N., Woodland Mills HM136MAX Portable Sawmill owner - ★★★★★

"HM136MAX WITH THE HONDA 21 HP ENGINE IS A BEAST!! My brother Jim and I are milling big walnuts, white oaks, hard maple, honey locust, and cherry like it's pine. We are extremely impressed with the product quality!"
Ian S., Woodland Mills HM136MAX and Power Head 110 owner - ★★★★★

"Used the mill without the power head for two days while waiting for my powerhead which was back ordered. Having tried it both ways I would never buy a mill without the powerhead. It will save you so much time and work!"
Sharpener Reviews
Chainsaw chains and sawmill blades need to stay sharp, so they can get the job done. These sharpener owners mention just how convenient it is to do their sharpening at home.
Andrew S., Woodland Mills RCS28 PRO Chainsaw Chain Sharpener owner - ★★★★★

"This is a MUST HAVE for anyone that is sharpening chains multiple times a week. Constant grinds, has made our business more productive. The machine is so easy to use. The customer service Woodland Mills offers, if you do have any questions, is also incredible."
Dwight P. Woodland Mills RS8 Blade Sharpener owner - ★★★★★

"Great product and well made. Instructions and assembly was very easy. The manual for assembling was very easy to follow with everything being colour coded. I didn't think it was the way to go with the sharpener. But after assembling it and trying it, Yes it's the way to go and I like the product very, very much."
Joseph M., Woodland Mills RS30 PRO Blade Sharpener owner - ★★★★★

"I'm more than happy with the sharpener. It does excellent work and it's very user friendly. It is recommended for anyone who cuts a lot in there mill as it will save you money in the long run for blades."
Wood Chipper Reviews
When you're cleaning up a site you want reliable machines that will consistently chip your tree branches and yard debris into fine pieces, and these Woodland Mills wood chipper owners have the confidence they can do just that.
Charles M., Woodland Mills WC68 6" PTO Wood Chipper owner - ★★★★★
"Ordered this unit back in the spring however other projects kept me from getting to it. Finally assembled and put it into service about 2 weeks ago. I found the assembly instruction very clear. Mounted it on the 3-point hitch of my New Holland TC40 which has 35 hp at the PTO. Lucked out in that the PTO shaft did not require trimming. So far it has handled everything I've fed into it without issue."
Doug J., Woodland Mills TF68 6" PTO Wood Chipper owner - ★★★★★
"A strongly built piece of kit that performs very well. I have it attached to a 35 HP Yanmar with a 20 HP PTO. It tackles hardwood six inches across that I should be burning! Smaller stuff is child’s play. So far I have about 25 hours on it and not a hint of any problems. I checked the blades and they show minor wear with a small nick or two. Given the amount of work I have done I am surprised how good they are. I would recommend the unit. Lastly, hearing protection is a must."
Daniel A., Woodland Mills TF68 6" Wood Chipper owner - ★★★★★

"I used gravity feed chippers where it would get bound up with debris and would be more challenging to feed. Moving to a hydraulic feed as well as twin wheel is a huge upgrade. I find it much safer to operate also. I also have a smaller tractor and was concerned of getting the correct chipper balance for my HP and also be able to process my material with wider branch crotches, etc.
I don't intend to feed solid pieces up to the chippers max capacity, however I wanted to leverage the larger throat opening for ease of use. I chatted with Woodland Mills staff who reassured me that it shouldn't be an issue with my intended use and tractor. I am happy with the build quality and manual was easy to follow. Although I haven't been able to use it as much as I would have liked yet, it has performed really well and makes much lighter work than other chippers I have had. It also makes a great addition to my HM122 Bushlander and cleaning up waste material and making usable mulch."
Scott H., Woodland Mills WC88 PRO 8" Wood Chipper owner - ★★★★★
"We selected the WC88 over the competition because of its features (location of the safety bar, clamshell design for ease of blade maintenance and the high speed and weight of the flywheel). It arrived quickly and was adjusted to spec out of the box. I have approximately 15 – 20 hours on it. Although the largest limbs we feed are less than 3” this thing is a beast! It operates as advertised. The promotional videos are not doctored or set up. It easily feeds branches and chews them up like a rabid beaver. On the rare occasion that it stops feeding due to bushy ends on a limb, reverse the feed and reposition the limb and you’re back in business. My giant burn pile is replaced with a wood chip pile we are finding new uses for including bedding for our chicken coop. I would definitely recommend this machine!"
Brad K., Woodland Mills TF810 PRO 8" Wood Chipper owner - ★★★★★

"I live in NM and have hundreds of dead pinion trees on our property. I also have a JD 2630 tractor (70 hp), and a fireplace in the house and a wood burner in my shop. So, I decided to deal with the dead trees myself.
Due to the dry climate here, burning brush is not an option, so I decided to look into a tractor mounted woodchipper. I researched them for quite a while and felt the TF810 Pro was the best for what I needed. The quality of the machine is definitely 5 star! They did not cut any corners while building this machine! Assembly was very easy! As I'm saving firewood, basically anything 4" and larger, I have not really tested the limits of the chipper. While running the tractor at 1500 rpm, everything I throw at it is easily delt with.
I will easily have paid for the chipper instead of hiring someone to remove the trees. In todays world it seems that there is more poor quality and poorly built merchandise everywhere you look. Thanks Woodland for the extremely well built and very durable machine!!"
Stump Grinder Reviews
Why pay a tree service company to come in and remove your stumps when you can grind them yourself? That's the logic behind a lot of stump grinder owners who want to invest in the right tools to best maintain their land.
Mitchell V., Woodland Mills WG24 Stump Grinder owner - ★★★★★

"At first I found it a bit hard to use, but once I caught on and realized what my tractor could handle the grinder was very efficient. Works easy. It’s very smooth operating. Hands down worth every penny! If I was to buy again I would by the PRO for the shock system because I now do it commercially. Having said that this thing does everything I throw at it and with ease. The teeth a very durable and easy to sharpen... I’ve seen other model from other manufacturers and I feel this is the best quality."
Paul H., Woodland Mills WG24 PRO Stump Grinder owner - ★★★★★

"I have this stump grinder installed on a Massey Ferguson GC1723EB. This stump grinder is very well built, it is very sturdy and very solid. Assembly and installation was simple and straight forward. The manuals were great, concise and to the point. The grinder works through all stumps from cedar to ash. It was a great purchase."
David S., Woodland Mills WG24 PRO Stump Grinder owner - ★★★★★
"I'm so glad I bought my WG24 Pro and I use it on my John Deere 4600 tractor. I really enjoy watching it chew through large stumps quickly. It is well designed, well built, and everything about it projects high build quality... Buy one and I know you will be happy with it!"
Shea S., Woodland Mills WG28 PRO Stump Grinder owner - ★★★★★

"While we bought this to clear out a space for our wedding (clearing about 20 large-ish fresh stumps, and maybe 60+ smaller older stumps), the long term use of this product is to keep the trails clear for future guests of our property AND to keep them safe for the tractor driving through them.
This property was previously logged, and so the trails are just riddled with stumps that make bush hogging very very slow. We decided to go with the larger unit, as our tractor is a 55hp and it felt like we wanted the grinder to be able to handle whatever the tractor could throw at it (and not the other way around). In addition, there was a bit of piece of mind that the steel was even thicker. So far it's been a real treat have some of our trails in much better condition, safer for all users, and we look forward to the many years of work this grinder has ahead of it."
Rockey P., Woodland Mills WG28 PRO Stump Grinder owner - ★★★★★
"Love the new grinder, had the product for about 3 months and we have removed around 100 stumps ranging from 8" to 24". I like the heavier weight of the WG28 when grinding that forces down against the stump.
Unit arrived in great packaging with minimal assembly. Works great on my Kubota L6060 and connects to my Land Pride quick, disconnect for fast hook up. This has been a great addition to our attachments and I would recommend it to anyone. Grinding ranges about 10-45 mins to remove stump depending on size and species of tree. Very well built, thick steel with good fabrication. Quick and easy hook up and disconnect.
Teeth have lasted so far for all of the stumps we have completed. It's worth the extra money for the PRO to have gauge and tension shock on the top. Great customer service when I purchased and during shipping. I would buy more of their products in the future."
ATV Trailer Reviews

Timothy G., Woodland Mills Multilander ATV Dump Trailer owner - ★★★★★

"Really Love using my Multilander trailer around our 10 acre property with various terrain. The rotating hitch helps to eliminate any bind on the receiver end, making for effortless movement on any slope or offset terrain. Dumping is a breeze and work just got a whole lot easier. Thanks for making a great product with the consumer in mind."
Stephane L., Woodland Mills Multilander ATV Dump Trailer owner - ★★★★★

"I got my trailer this last April 2025 to the Great Northern Peninsula in NL. It's construction is good and strong compared to others and it's a good thing for the region I live in. This is my fire wood dump truck and a life saver with it I get to cut wood during spring summer and fall and bring home to be split and dry before the winter.
I'd been looking for a tool like this for my UTV and was very happy to see the new trailer after COVID. The operator manual makes the build so easy to put together, it shows the professionalism of the WM team, the Youtube video is on point. "What you see is what you get". Customer service is quick and efficient and get the trailer hitch attachement, it's worth it. Thanks WM"
Kevin P., Woodland Mills Multilander ATV Dump Trailer owner - ★★★★★

"Very worthwhile purchase, straight forward assembly, excellent instructions, great customer service. Crate had a slight dent on arrival, reported to customer service, prompt response and offer to promptly replace any damaged parts (there were none). Added higher sides to trailer made of expanded metal. Primary use was intended to be for hauling leaves from fall clean ups.
Happy to report hauled and dumped at least 50 loads with no issues. Hauls and dumps very well."
Kurt B., Woodland Mills Pathlander ATV Dump Trailer owner - ★★★★★

"I purchased this Pathlander trailer to primarily transport down and burnable salvaged trees from 12 Acres which I recently purchased. It had to be a trailer that would function on quite steep terrain , (bringing the loads down fortunately). This thing is super tough, incredibly stable even on sidehill and capable of moving as much weight as my quad can possibly pull. It’s not possible to get a better trailer for this kind of narrow quad trail access. I would recommend this trailer to anyone who requires a need for firewood hauling or heavy material , soils, compost , gravel , leaves etc. The dump feature is such a bonus as well."
