Grinding performance and longevity depend on the quality of the carbide, the brazing process, and the strength of the tooth body and mounting hardware. These teeth use high-quality tungsten carbide securely brazed to a durable steel body, helping them hold their edge and stay firmly seated in the flywheel during heavy grinding. The square tooth profile locks into the matching square pockets in the flywheel, creating a solid, stable fit under load.

The carbide tips can be resharpened to extend service life when grinding performance begins to drop. New mounting nuts are included, and re-torquing after the first few hours of use is recommended to ensure proper seating as the teeth settle into place.
